Chancellors Run Road
GREAT MILLS (Dec. 2)--- A early morning crash on Chancellors Run Road took one life due to the speed and drunk driving on the part of the operator of a Ford Focus heading north on Rt. 237 at about 3 am. State Trooper Matt Davis told ST. MARY'S TODAY that the driver was going too fast when he lost control on a curve and hit a pole and killed his passenger, Christine Lee Harper, 21, of Lexington Park. Jesse John Harper, 27, was flown to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda and the alleged drunken idiot behind the wheel, William Francis Heather, 21, refused treatment and is facing charges of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter by motor vehicle pending a review by the states attorney's office.
